Gaoia & Matthew's Engagement

Matthew and Gaoia have been together for seven years, and that kind of long-lasting love creates something that feels both comfortable and unwavering. Their connection made it easy to capture moments that felt natural, intimate, and deeply genuine. Before the shoot, we gathered plenty of visual inspiration to guide us, but once we began working with them, their ease with one another carried the session on its own. As we stepped into the Minnesota State Capitol building, we were surrounded by a soft orange and yellow light that gave everything a warm, nostalgic feel. It instantly reminded us of a vintage digicam frame from an old rom-com, and that became part of the feeling we wanted to preserve throughout the shoot.
